Meet the Team
Andrew Boswell
Music has always been a defining part of Andrew's life.
As a drummer in bands including Piercing Silence and Agony of Avarice, Andrew spent years writing, performing, and building a following throughout the independent music scene. Through countless shows, promotions, and networking opportunities, he gained firsthand experience with the challenges artists face while trying to grow.
After building a successful career in technology sales and leadership, Andrew found himself drawn back to the music community that helped shape him.
Today, he combines his experience as a musician and business professional to help artists navigate growth, promotion, audience development, and long-term opportunities.
TCD Studios was built from that passion.
Sarah Lucas Boswell
Sarah is a South Jersey native with a background in business development, growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and executive engagement.
Throughout her career, she has helped organizations identify opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive growth through thoughtful planning and execution. Growing up in South Jersey, she developed a deep appreciation for the local music scene, the venues that support it, and the artists who continue to shape it.
Today, she applies that same strategic mindset to helping independent artists strengthen their brand, expand their audience, and create new opportunities for growth.
Sarah believes talented artists deserve more than exposure—they deserve strategy, advocacy, and access to meaningful opportunities. Her approach is simple: build relationships, create momentum, and help artists turn potential into progress.
Andrew & Sarah
TCD Studios is the product of two lifelong passions: music and community.
Andrew and Sarah met in college while Andrew was actively performing in the regional music scene. What began as a shared love of music eventually became a shared life.
After returning to South Jersey, they reconnected with the local music community and quickly rediscovered what had drawn them to it in the first place: talented artists, dedicated venues, passionate fans, and a thriving network of people working tirelessly to build something meaningful.
Along the way, they noticed a familiar challenge. Many artists had the talent, drive, and work ethic to succeed, but lacked the resources, connections, and strategic support needed to continue growing.
With Andrew's firsthand experience as a musician and Sarah's background in business growth and strategy, they saw an opportunity to help.
TCD Studios was created to be the kind of partner independent artists deserve—someone willing to advocate for them, create opportunities, build meaningful connections, and help them think beyond the next show.
The Band that started it all
Detained is an independent rock band from the South Jersey and Philadelphia music scene, blending alternative rock, hard rock, and modern metal influences into a sound that is both familiar and distinctly their own.
Known for powerful vocals, driving rhythms, and high-energy live performances, Detained has built a loyal and growing audience through consistency, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to their craft.
With more than 375,000 streams and counting, the band continues to build momentum both online and on stage, proving that independent artists can still grow meaningful audiences through great music, hard work, and authentic fan engagement.
As TCD Studios' first featured artist, Detained represents everything we value: talent, professionalism, consistency, and a commitment to long-term growth.
As part of Detained's Shadows EP release, TCD Studios supported promotional efforts designed to increase visibility, strengthen the band's brand, and expand audience engagement. The campaign included support for the development and launch of the band's official music video, creating a powerful piece of content that continues to connect with existing fans while reaching new audiences.

Before TCD Studios ever worked with Detained, we were fans.
Andrew first saw the band while performing with Agony of Avarice and was immediately impressed—not only by their talent, but by the effort they put behind every opportunity. Great musicians are everywhere. Bands that combine talent, professionalism, consistency, and relentless effort are much harder to find.
As we continued to follow their journey, it became clear that Detained wasn't waiting for opportunities to happen—they were creating them.
